Limak Energy Trade provides its customers with sustainability goals with the internationally recognized VCS, I-REC, and YEK-G certificates, which guarantee that electricity is produced from renewable energy sources offered by EPİAŞ to the market, enabling them to reduce carbon emissions. The Limak Energy Trading team, actively involved in these markets, has redeemed a total of 127,390 YEK-G and 78,718 I-REC certificates on behalf of eligible consumers.
Limak Energy Trading, which prioritizes sustainable growth, continues to sell wholesale electricity with an increasing volume each year, playing an active role in the Over-the-Counter (OTC), Day-Ahead Market, Intraday Market, and Futures and Options Market.
Limak Energy Trading resumed its services in this area by selling retail electricity to eligible consumers at the end of 2021. The energy needs of Limak Group’s commercial business partners operating in the energy market and non-group end-users are met through retail energy sales through its own generation portfolios.
Furthermore, within the "Balance Responsible Group," it contributes to cost reductions and savings by working with more than 30 companies within the "Balance Responsible Group."
