Birol Ergüven received his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from METU in 1993 and his Master’s degree in 1996. He began his professional career as a Research Engineer in the Defense Industry in 1993. Later, he held managerial roles in various companies involved in the production and sales of industrial equipment and construction machinery, while also completing his MBA during that period. In 2004, he transitioned into the energy sector and has been working within the Limak Group of Companies since 2011 and currently serves as a Board Member at Limak Investment. He also serves as a Board Member and Advisory Board Member for various associations and NGOs.
